Shanna Ramm, BDM, BA (Psych), CDMP, CPHR, is the Director, Disability Management Services for the Saskatchewan government and General Employees Union (SGEU) and was the first graduate of the BDM program at PCU-WHS. She has a Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in psychology from the University of Saskatchewan, and an Advanced Certificate in Human Resources Management from Saskatchewan Polytechnic. She is both a Certified Disability Management Professional (CDMP) and a Chartered Professional in Human Resources (CPHR). Shanna currently sits on the Board of Directors for the Canadian Council for Rehabilitation and Work in addition to the PCU-WHS Board of Governors. Shanna has over 18 years experience in Human Resources and Disability Management and notes her most significant career accomplishment has been the development and delivery of value-added return to work, disability management, and wellness programming with a focus on psychological wellness that supports positive return to work and work retention outcomes. She recently led the updating and revisions of a labour-owned LTD plan, aligning it with current best practices and improving benefits of the plan members. Shanna is an ally for people with disabilities and a passionate advocate for accessibility and inclusion.
