Harro Lauprecht

Harro Lauprecht, MBA, BSc, is a disability management professional with over twenty-five years of cross-industry experience in disability management, ergonomics, return to work, WCB claims management, occupational health and safety, and medical surveillance for large unionized organizations such as PHSA, UBC and SFU.

He has been responsible for the writing, roll-out, implementation and management of various disability management, attendance management and duty to accommodate programs, manuals and policies for organizations for up to 15,000 employees. He has been responsible for developing and delivering training to over 1,000 managers and supervisors.

He has extensive experience in providing expert advice to all levels of management on employee/labour relations issues, human rights legislation and industry best practices. He has developed and delivered community based active rehabilitation programs and Functional Capacity Evaluation services to large organizations such as Translink, ICBC, WCB and BC Hydro.

Harro has a MBA from the University of Western Ontario, a BSc in Kinesiology from Simon Fraser University, and was awarded Canada’s Best Workplace for Employees Living with Arthritis in the large workplace category in 2016.
